Local pastor conducts interviews, appoints church coordinator who issues forms, returns signed forms to state body, requests training, accepts authorisation letters and distributes to teachers.

Prohibited employment declarations are kept by the local church.
SRE engagement forms are stored at the Baptist Ministry Centre.

Diocesan CCD office advises parishes on child protection and authorisation procedures, and stores originals of all authorisation forms, cross checking these against the annual list of authorised teachers from the parishes.
Lay volunteer employees are authorised by the local parish priest; ordained representatives are authorised by the bishop.
